I tried xfmail and overall liked it. The author has put some time in
developing its interface and the controls that you can use to change
aspects of the program. I think its a powerful program which offers
some nice functionality. Someone else recommended Ishmail and its also
quite nice. Im a registered user of Ishmail but yet do not use it. I
really like tkrat 1.2 more than about anything I have ever used except
for one rather neat little win32 program called The_Bat. Tkrat really
works the way I do. Its folder views are quite well done and it seems
to have a lot of power under the hood. I dont really use its database
technology whatsoever. The ability to map virtual folders, write
expressions, and a whole bunch of other stuff makes tkrat a really good
client which I miss if I travel with a win9x laptop.
