[SuSE Linux] Printout 2 page per sheet

I'd like to print some of the man pages using a HP lj4. I get a printout
but not what I would like. I get 2 pages printed on one page that is
turned sideways (landscape). Naturally the print is very small for my
old eyes.

How do I  get the printer to print properly.
