I have installed wp8 on two diff machines. When it comes up, the icons
atop the panel showing the blank page and the script graphic in the
"program" panel are corrupted and uninteligible. However, if I click on
the icons, they work to reveal the underlying screens or whatever. I
had no such prob installing wp6 on the notebook (see below) a yr ago. I
suspect a corrupted d/l file.
machines used:
1. Notebook: Pent 200; 64 MB RAM, 4 MB video card, 3.1 GB EIDE HD;
video runs in 1280 x 1024 or 1024 x 768 in 24 or 32 bpp
2. Desktop: AMD K6-2 350; 128 MB RAM, 8 MB Matrox G2 AGP
Also, on install, wp8 trashed several other directories and files.
Any suggestions on either problem?
