I'm sorry but instead of answers I'll ask you questions !!
I did manage to connect to the net using kppp or a script based pppd
connection the problem I have is that I cannot go faster than 45333 in
kppp ( the setting is at 115200 but it never connect faster) .
I have a professional message modem V90 56K.
pppd refuses to init with a setting faster than 38400 !! and it connect
a little slower.
So I probably missed something !!
anyone has a clue on this one ??
