I hope someone may be able to offer some advice on this problem that I
apparently self induced.
>From a working SuSE 5.3 / KDE install, I did an upgrade to the KDE packages
via YAST using the suse.com ftp site /pub/SuSE-Linux/5.3/kde . After
upgrading all installed packages for KDE, and rebooting the system. I get
the following output at boot time and never get to X, text login prompt.
Just before the system would normally start KDM, the last output is as follows:
Starting KDM... /opt/kde/bin/kdm: Can't resolve symbol `SizeHint__C8QListBox`
Done:
runlevel 3 has been reached
then the login prompt
username:
All seemed to go well from yast, am not sure what the problem is...
I am not completely a newbie, but am still learning..
Any help would be greatly appreciated..
