I've only put the password in one time during set-up. After
that Kmail has never asked me for my password.

While connected to my ISP and inside Kmail all I have to do in
select "File" > "Get Mail". Not sure about the title "Get Mail"
but there is a selection under "File"
I assume your using Kmail under KDE. If it is another mail program
then never mind.
