I have a few large player database applications loaded on my SuSE 5.3
box like adabas D, informix, even paradox 4.5 for dos running quite
well under dosemu. One that I tend to use, and recommend quite highly,
is qddb. Its easy to setup graphical user interfaces and provides a
nice environment to record things like contacts, addresses, etc. I
have a database in which I record things from linux newsgroups that is
searchable and printable through several criteria.

If you want a database application without a huge learning curve and
that works quite well (using rpm format) on SuSE, check out qddb.
Their web site is www.hsdi.com/qddb. There is also written
documentation available from the site which details quite clearly the
power and flexibility of this application.

Take care all.
