Further to my queries about a new installation: if I use YaST to
change the mount point of an existing installation (e.g. if I change
my existing / to, say, /old, and create a new / on a new partition,
will that affect the files that are on that directory? Would they
still be accessible?

Further, (and I apologize for being stupid here!), I have used fdisk
on my new HD. I set up 3 primary partitions, then wanted an extended
partition which I would then sub-divide, but selecting 'e' won't allow
me to add extra virtual disks within the extended partition.
