Why not just the kppp program which ships with kde? Or you could
alternatively use wvdial which works quite well. My alltime favorite is
X-isp. There are some examples of chat and ppp scripts in the
ppp-howto as well as ppp examples in the distribution. The SuSE book
also has some examples. I have had better luck with the script
examples in the PPP-HOWTO located in /usr/doc/howto--.
