There is an > error message ( erno: 111 ) ! > > Is there anyone who tried this Scitech server in SuSE 5.3 and can help me ? > Any ideas are very welcomed. > ( The LJ article reviews only for a Red Hat distro.) I've used it succesfully with suse 5.3 but my advise is to download the i740 server from redhat it's on ftp.redhat.com/pub/XBF since SDD gave me lots of headaches. First you've to force the installaltion and I supect you must have a more recent version of the glibc libraries than the stock version of suse. Also after the trial period your server will disconnect and stop workin at all it will say "connection to the server refused" and similars. So it's a better thing to star using from the begining the redhat server, it's free and works great. have fun!
