A couple of days ago, I said that I had problems with IP
Masq(ing)..........
With the exception of 1 irate fool on this list, most people helped me,
and were quite patient......
However I have come across another stumbling block......
I finally managed to get my ISA Kingston NIC working with IO 0x0280 and
IRQ 12
and everything seems it does mention that eth1 is detected.
I also went into Yast and made the necessary IP and other configs in the
Network Configuration.
Now 3 problems remain......
1. When I start xWindows, it says that the mouse is not there. Now I am
using a Ps2 mouse and I am sure that the ISA card is conflicting.
2. Once I get problem 1 settled (with all your help of course), I need to
figure out how to set up IPFWADM to work with the 2 cards and what IP to
assign the cards.........
3. And finally, I need help on what settings to put in the Windows95 box.
(I wish there was a DHCP server for SuSE 5.3) (btw.....is there one that
I can use that will work RELIABLY?)
