Using the "-d" flag causes directories to be unlinked meaning that any
files in those directories become unreferenced. You'll need to run fsck
afterwards. A better way to delete entire directory contents is to use
"rm -rf /tmp/logs". Be careful using this combination of flags if you're
logged in as root. I've seen some blunders where someone logged in as
root does an "rm -rf" when they are in the root directory and they trash
the entire system.
