Install the sources for the best docs, but for DBE:

 locate '*man*/DBE*'
 /usr/X11R6/man/man3/DBE.3x.gz

 rpm -qf /usr/X11R6/man/man3/DBE.3x.gz
 xman-3.3.2.3-10

 /usr/src/newrpm/BUILD/XFree86-3.3.3/xc/doc/specs/Xext $ ls sync*
 sync.tex synclib.tex

And for pre-built hardcopy:

 /usr/src/newrpm/BUILD/XFree86-3.3.3/xc/doc/hardcopy/Xext $ ls
AppGroup.PS.Z dbelib.PS.Z lbxalg.PS.Z security.PS.Z
synclib.PS.Z bigreq.PS.Z lbx.PS.Z mit-shm.PS.Z
shape.PS.Z xc-misc.PS.Z buffer.PS.Z lbx.html
record.PS.Z shapelib.PS.Z xtest.PS.Z dbe.PS.Z
lbxTOC.html recordlib.PS.Z sync.PS.Z xtestlib.PS.Z
