I didn't find as difficult as much as time consuming.  The directions
given in the BUILD file seemed straight-forward.  After copying the file
as mentioned previously, I just did the 'make', repeated with each one of
the options as specified in the BUILD (also see 'relnotes') and it worked
1st time.
