I downloaded a separate fix which includes what Alexander told me about which
is a hack for the XF86Config and the mach64 driver that permits X to work on
the dell's ati rage II or whatever video card. The XI graphics are something
I am considering now. I would like to see more and different resolutions;
but until I decide whether the $200 is worth it, I have X running now.
Thanks.
