First I recommend fvwm95 for ease of use and familar features of windoze.
second about hw to change it. I will need to know what init level you are
running at most of the time (2 or 3) and what command you are using to start
the xserver (xinit or startx or xdm or kdm). If you email with that info I
will help you change your wm.
