Hello,

Ppp is easy to install in 6.0 if you stay away from the
2.2.0pre(something?) kernel that is included in the distro. Wvdial is
included and all you should have to do after installing is add your login
name, password and ISP's phone number in /etc/wvdial.conf (already there
for you to edit). Make sure to remember to set up your nameserver in
yast and you should be set. I am still trying to get the 2.2.1 kernel
going so I can't say for sure if ppp will be an issue or not. All in all
imho the upgrade to 6.0 is worth it, and as a kernel, glibc upgrade
newbie myself with little time to experiment before I have to be
productive, the fresh install of 6.0 was the way to go. Less than 1 hr.
for the whole install including the Star Office license procedure.

Hope this helps,
Mike
