Hi everyone!

I'm having trouble with samba and I don't understand what is going on.

I'm trying to access a Red Hat 5.1 Linux Server with samba 2.0.0 from a
SuSE 6.0 station with samba 1.9.18. When I use:

"smbclient //linuxserver/ernesto -U ernesto"

I aceess it without problems, after typing my password of course. When I
try:

"smbmount //linuxserver/ernesto /mnt/server.ernesto -U ernesto"

it asks me for my password but then it gives me an error saying

"mount error: invalid argument"

Can someone gives me an opinion about this please !

thanks

ernesto

ps. I had this working without any problems before upgrading to SuSE 6.0
(using SuSE 5.3) and samba 2.0.0 on the RH machine
