Following Lenz's advice, I decided to replace my existing version of
Yast (from SuSE 5.3) with a newer version. The existing version is
0.97.4. I downloaded the .rpm file for the newest Yast and then
started up the old one, specifying "Installation adjustments" and then
"Installation from a reachable directory". But then, no matter what
directory I specified, even just "/' or "/usr", I got the message "Could
not find the installation directory. Please enter an existing
directory." How can I get past that error message? Is there something
that Yast is looking for in the directory to consider it valid?
