Pardon my french, but that card is a piece of shit. If you're really
determined to make it work, there should be an product ID silk-screened on
the card. It is an Adaptec card with no BIOS. Build support for it into a
new kernel and it should work. My advice, get an adaptec with a BIOS like
a 2940.
