Same problem, My external BEST MODEM (56K) reports that the carrier is 4800
oh, Suse 5.3 (2.?.?) and I've tried the same things the person below has...
KDE 1.0 also (Cool GUI !)
this seems strange, glad someone else has this problem, oh, I figure by
timing a FTP
I have roughly a 36K connection (by rough timing)
