The best way, (and most time consuming way) is probably to select the
minimal installation, and then change/create configuration and de-select
everything uneeded (such as applixware). I find the pre-made
configurations to be slightly off at what their purposes are, so you
might want to go through everything and see if there is stuff that hasnt
been checked (such as sudo maybe?) that you might find necesary, even for 
a minimum install.
