Sorry folks , forgot the taper config file , its below .

I am having trouble getting taper to read write to the tape drive. tar works , sees and writes to it /dev/ht0.

I must be missing somthing on setting it up ?
Have any of you used it and know how to set it up ?

Is there any other tape backup software ??
any pros cons ect...

any way to start5 it autamaticaly ??
