I have this 'umask=0' in my fstab file and as a user I can write, delete
and read from the vfat partition with no problem. Only 'cp' is behaving
very strangely. Trying to copy a file from the ext2 partition to the
vfat partition generates an error as can be seen in the following
example:
avi@Seahorse:~ > cp x.html /win98/
cp: /win98/x.html: Operation not permitted
The strange thing is that the file IS copied regardless of the error
message. Strange.
Has anyone else seen this?
