The night of the inauguration ball Clinton, Gore and their wives were
turing the Whitehouse, followed by the C-SPAN cameras. Gore lead the
group into the Hall of Presidents. Glancing around he pointed to the
bust of George Washington and asked "Who's that?". Clinton, standing
behind him, turn toward the camera (but was apparently not aware he was
being filmed) and hit his forehead with the heel of his hand, then
rolled his eyes. I'll never forget that. I knew from that instant that
Gore wasn't smart enough to be President of the US, which is why he is
Clinton's VP. A real Quayle-clone.
