[SuSE Linux] rpm Kernel??????

I just visited Mandrake dist. ( www.linux-mandrake.com) and they have
kernel 2.2.3 in rpm format. 
Mandrake is based on RH 5.2 and 5.3. can anyone tell me why this should
not work on suse 6.0
i'm running Suse 6.0
