Hi all,

I've just switched my system from 5.3->6.0, and there
seems to be a problem with libc5 compatibility for
some programs. Specifically, I run the motif window
manager, and it seg faults under SuSE 6, although the
same (libc5) version runs fine under RedHat 5.1, which
is a libc6 system. Any ideas why mwm would seg fault
under SuSE 6? /etc/ld.so.conf contains the reference
to the libc5 area, and the libc5 compatibility RPM
has been installed.

Also, can someone explain the warning messages of
the compiler (or linker) that say something like
"file.o: warning multiple common ...". I've never
seen this warning before, and I am guessing it's
a libc6 issue?
