Hi all,
i don't get kppp working. i believe that kppp misses some basic facts
and i don't know where to get them. my provider is t-online and i asked
them for some things like default gateway, subnet mask, domain-name,
DNS-IP-adress etc. but the the service couldn't give me an answer (no
answers concearning non-tonline-software).
when i try to configure a ppp-connection via yast it shows me only some
things like the nameserver (194.25.2.129), the POP3-server etc. but not
the things mentioned above.
i visited already the suse-support-databank but didn't find anything
about this special problem. maybe i don't need them at all? Are the
default-settings right? i�ve got an 56k diamond supra e external modem.
any options needed or problems known about that?
somebody mumbled 'newbie'? yes, right.
