Okay, I have trashed my 5.2 setup, reformatted partitions, and finally
installed 6.0.
I am now trying to get back online from Linux.
Using kpp, I created my account, setup the modem and device, and created
a script for my ISP, etc. This is kppp a great tool!!! Using the log
window, I can see that I connect successfully to my ISP and that I get
assigned an IP address (my ISP uses dyanmic addresses). However, after
getting the IP address, a bunch of garbage appears in the kppp log
window and the bottom message area says it is expecting "OK". Needless
to say, my script ends after sending "ppp" after successfully loging
in. If I wait, kppp hangs up and attempts to redial.
Any ideas what I did wrong here?
