| Hi all!
| I am new to this list, since the french one fall appart...
| Well I have a rather complicated problem : I want to set up a suse 5.3 or
| 6.0 with tow network adapters. One have to be in dhcp, and the other have to
| use a fixed address. But in Suse, you can only use dhcp or fixed addresses,
| not together!! I tried to modify a bit the network init scripts, it worked
| at startup, but then the dhcp client does not renew its lease, so adress is
| lost...
| Did someone manage to setup a config like mine, using tow network adapters,
| one using dhcp, the other on,e using a fixed address?

DHCP stands for dynamic host configuration protocol, nothing says that
the addresses have to be dynamic, they can be fixed although the client
doesn't have to know that. Your problem then becomes one of convincing
your DHCP server that fixed addresses are OK.
