for USB stuff. As for vid cards I've had good luck with Matrox Millennium
G200 and the Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro, however for max performance I
prefer the Xi-Graphics Accelerated-X server over XF86 http://www.xig.com/
. The XF86 server is not as responsive for me with these cards but I've
come to learn that with a little time the XF86 servers do improve greatly.
