You can always go to YaST, find the package, and <F2>.  That will tell 
you what version it is.

My 6.0 says: glibc-2.0.7pre6 glibc-crypt-2.0.6
glibc-linuxthreads-2.0.7pre6 glibc-localedata-2.0.7pre3
