Jose,

If all you want from the RH system is the users and passwds, then just 
make copies of your /etc/passwd & /etc/shadow (assuming shadowed
passwds) and copy them to the respective files on the new SuSE setup.
You may want to compare /etc/groups as well, since the passwd file has 
to associate the users with the groups.
