I Think there is a problem with fdisk within suse 6.0
I used to work with fdisk in 5.2 5.3 without problem (I have 95/nt/linux
on the same drive)
but recently When trying this I had a crash : Linux run always nice, but
win95 seems never to start and bill's fdisk start running endlessly the
hard drive (I waited 5 minutes then reboot)
Caldera opendos fdisk run, but do not recognise linux and scratch linux
partition.
Having a paper map of the partition, I reboot from cd and remake the
partition table with 5.3 fdisk. I plan to experiment with this, but the
operation wipes out all the win data (linux's is safe) and I don't need
this too often...
