Ulrich,
I used xisp with 5.3, and because of quirks with my isp when I upgraded
to 6.0 I was forced to find something else. I downloaded ezppp and it
works like a charm. I could however never get kppp to work. It gave me
weird errors and just plain wouldn't work. I run several versions of
Unix connected to a SuSE linux box and ezppp works well, and it's as the
name says EZ. :)
Give it a try..or if you are using a version of pppd before 2.3 xisp
should work very well for you.
