I made a couple of rpms for gFTP. gFTP is a multithreaded FTP client for X Windows written using Gtk. It allows to have simultaneous downloads, resuming of interrupted file transfers, Drag-N-Drop support, file transfer queues for downloading multiple files, a very nice connection manager. It supports downloading entire directories and subdirectories, sorting capabilities in the file list boxes and many more features. gFTP requires gtk-1.1.x or higher. If you have gtk-1.0.6 (which comes with SuSE 6.0) installed on your system as well as gtkn-1.1.x or higher, you will get an error when installing this package with rpm -i. You can use: rpm -ih --nodeps gftp-1.12-1.rpm , instead. If you have not gtk-1.1.x or higher installed on your system, you may want to try the static binary. I just didn't test the static binary because I am too lazy to uninstall gtkn. This time I am not going to make any rpm for the SuSE5.3 distribution, because I have not installed gtkn on it. You may find them at: http://adriatico.prisma.rm.cnr.it/~maurizio Ciao, Maurizio. Hey: if there is any problem related to the way I packaged the rpms, justl let me know. They are labelled as release #1, so we can go any further :-) -- To get out of this list, please send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archive at http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
