The beta cdrom contains various disk images in the subdirectory disks. You
could e.g. use the 'rescue' image.
Under Linux: cat /<mountpoint>/disks/rescue > dev/fd0
Under Win9x: Use some tool or may be NC to copy the image to a floppy
What do you mean with root disk?
