I have a DiamondMM 3D 2000 w/4 Mb Ram and although it functions
reasonably well I'd like to upgrade to something better, something that
will serve for the near future primarily for graphics apps other than
games. The Matrox G200 sounds very good, but there are others such as
the Elsa Gloria, to name just one, I've heard of.

I frankly do not understand the connection between the various 2-D and
3-D cards.
Are there nay sites that might give me some insights into this subject?
As I do not own a TV I hope to include that aspect on my Linux box, as
well. So the Matrox Marvel G200 has sounded good.

Anu suggestions would be appreciated. Currently I'm digging into The
GIMP, Blender, and I may look at VariCAD. I do make my living with
AutoCAD in Messy$oft.

TIA

Bob
