Folks,
I recently got my paws on StarOffice 5.0 personal edition for Linux-x86,
on the cover CD of PC Plus (in the UK).
I also spent a while last night installing what I thought was the latest
glibc (2.0.6). And yet I find that StarOffice won't even consider
completing the install script unless I have 2.0.7 - the sources for
which I can't find anywhere - even www.gnu.org.
So - what's the story? Is there a source release of glibc 2.0.7 kicking
about yet, or are StarDivision pulling everyone's leg?
There is a binary version (apparently) of glibc 2.0.7 on the CD, which I
could install, I suppose, but this is a bit of a mystery....
Any ideas?
Alan.
