...and how about having both choices?  Linux is supposed to offer more
choices than say Windows, for instance.  That's the beauty of this OS. 
You like your console?  Go ahead, and use it.  However, other people may
prefer nice little GUIs.  Not only that, but if we manage to make it
easy for them too Linux may end up becoming more popular.
