Here at work I have a Pentuim 200MMX running SuSE 6.0, Kernel 2.2.7, 64M
of ram and 128M of swap. I ran the above applet for 10 MINUTES and my
system never died, just noticably slowed down. I had a full X session
going with quite a few apps running. I had top running in an xterm and
before I had finally killed it, it reported netscape had allocated 813M
of memory! Granted my drive was churning, but she never died. I think I
could have let her churn for another ten minutes without a problem.
