That's a simple problem of filtering.  Make everything containing
"X-Mailinglist: suse-linux" go to a separate folder and everything
should be fine.  This keeps your personal folder small and handy.

AFAIK mailing lists are better kept "closed" for spammers and
the other bad guys.  But YOU have the option of installing a
private mail-to-news gateway fed by this mailing list and
providing you a local newsgroup.  But administer this carefully
since loops will cause you (and others) a lot of trouble :)
