SuSE Users:

        If one rebuilds the kernel using the following methodology:

        make mrproper
        make xconfig
        make dep && clean
        make bzImage && make modules && make modules_install

        Normally at this point (on my Dell 8100 laptop) I would issue
the command:

        make install

        However this command seems to be conspicuously missing. What do
I do to finish the installation of the kernel into the /boot directory?
What files must I copy and / or modify to effectuate the completion of
the new kernel installation?

Very Respectfully,
