-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that Suspend to Ram works on my laptop: This machine can be identified by: sys_vendor = "Dell Computer Corporation" sys_product = "Latitude D500 " sys_version = "" bios_version = "A10" The laptop comes back to life without any problems, including X. This is the command that works: /usr/sbin/s2ram -f -s -p With the -a options the backlight doesn't come back on (this seems to be normal with Dell laptops). The system is Debian Etch with the standard Debian kernel 2.6.18-3-686, the uswsusp version is 0.3~cvs20060928-6.
