In X, the only command switch that works perfectly is no command line switch. 's2ram -f'
's2ram -f -s' 's2ram -f -p' 's2ram -f -m' In X mode, these all print output to the xterm window. The least intrusive is -m, with: #### [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo s2ram -m -f Switching from vt7 to vt1 Calling get_mode Calling set_vbe_mode Real mode call failed switching back to vt7 #### In console mode, any command line switch leaves very minor video attributes on the screen (green fuzz in the top 5th of the screen). issuing 'clear' to the shell makes this go away. In console mode, the only switch that does NOT work is 's2ram -f'. This leaves a black screen but the computer is still active. Ignore all the other symptoms reported; they're related to running gnome in runlevel 2. Not a problem with resuming.
