This might be a driver problem, but it is not easy to debug if it

Hm, this is bad. So we need the X server to restore video.
What chipset does this machine use?

Well, the ACPI_SLEEP=3 is in this case probably not really useful.

I'll add it to the whitelist with "-f" only for now.
