Hi, I dont' know If anyone may be interested, but suspend to ram works
enought well for my workstation.

Sorry but s2ram -i don't give me any interesting info... :-)

# s2ram -i
This machine can be identified by:
     sys_vendor   = " "
     sys_product  = " "
     sys_version  = " "
     bios_version = "6.00 PG"
See http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram for details.

If you report a problem, please include the complete output above.

So I list my hw/sw here... :

My Hardware:
-Mainboard DFI LanParty UT SLI-D (bios award)
-CPU Athlon64 3800+ X2
-Video Gainward NVIDIA 6600GT PCI-E

My Software:
Distro: Debian Etch 3.0 (testing)
Kernel: 2.6.21-rc1-git1 (with 2.6.20 system freeze at second resume)
Video Drivers: nvidia closed drv 1.0-9746
X Version: X.org 7.1

...all works good for me in X (simply s2ram -f), instead I'm not able to
resume from a console session (Linux init=/bin/sh at boot time),
powerled continue blinking after pushing and typing "find /" has no
effect to hdd activity. I dont' need to use console mode on my desktop,
but If anyone has a tip to made it working I'll very happy.

Hope my experience can be helpful.

Bye.
MH
