Hi!
I sent you an email about a month ago about a new computer working with s2ram.
After that I fooled around a bit with the drivers for my graphics card ( ATI
X600] and now s2ram doesn't work anymore, even though I've reverted back to
the open source radeon drivers with which it worked originally. I can't seem
to find what the problem is. Is this normal? Is s2ram dependent on the
graphics card drivers?
Anyway, you might want to reconsider my computer model for inclusion
as 'working'....
The computer in question is:
This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor = "HP Pavilion 061"
sys_product = "EJ192AA-ABS t3250.se"
sys_version = "0qm0211RE101AMETM00"
bios_version = "3.36"
I'm still commited to trying out other computers with a liveDVD,
but if I have to install graphics card drivers on those computers, I can't,
since those who owns those computers doesn't want to install linux. (However
running a liveDVD on their computers won't be a problem.)
Regards,
Bo Thysell
Ps. I used the latest drivers from ATI's webpage, not a repo, and when I
reverted back I used their accompanying uninstaller, then sax2 -r -m
0:radeon.
