I tried s2ram, and wasn't on the whitelist, but it seems to work fine.
Hurray! The first time suspend to ram worked for me on linux!
Here's the output of s2ram -i:
This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor = "IBM"
sys_product = "1834S3G"
sys_version = "ThinkPad R50e"
bios_version = "1WET88WW (2.08 )"
One thing: I would suggest adding a link to the "How to contact..."
section from the "My machine is not in the whitelist, what can i do?"
section. It may seem silly, but I had to search a few minutes until I
found that section. Adding this link may help you receive more
feedback about working configurations.
