As requested in http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram this is a sucess report.
My Sony Vaio PCG-GRT916Z(IT) works perfectly with s2ram -f (ithout any
additional argument)

    sys_vendor   = "Sony Corporation"
    sys_product  = "PCG-GRT916Z(IT)"
    sys_version  = "01"
    bios_version = "R0200F0"

My system is a Debian Unstable using debian kernel
linux-image-2.6.21-1-686 package versione 2.6.21-3

I'm using nv video driver.
